LAGOS – Prince Adewale Samson, Director of Inter-Party Affairs at the International Coordinating Council (ICC) in Lagos State, has dismissed criticism of Seyi Tinubu’s contributions to the nation’s development, calling the detractors “ignorant.”
In a statement provided to PENTALK360, Samson praised Seyi’s intellect and resourcefulness, describing him as a steadfast advocate for youth rights across Nigeria. He also commended Seyi’s unwavering support for his father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Even when many doubted Asiwaju’s ambition to become President, Seyi stood by him from the very beginning,” said Samson, referring to the younger Tinubu’s loyalty.
Samson further described him as a leader and strong voice for Nigerian youths, dedicated to their progress and upliftment across the country. “We will continue to support Seyi Tinubu and his laudable initiatives for the advancement of the nation’s youth,” he added.
ICC Backs Seyi Tinubu Amid Criticism
Deputy Director of the Directorate, Comrade Shola Omolola, also lauded Seyi’s commitment to serving the country in various selfless capacities. Omolola highlighted Tinubu’s advocacy for youth representation in the current administration and urged him to remain focused despite negative commentary.
“We applaud your ongoing efforts to improve the lives of the youths, who are your constituency, and Nigerians as a whole,” Omolola said.
Mr. Shakiru Wusu, an executive member of the Directorate and close associate of Seyi Tinubu, described him as “a chip off the old block.” Wusu praised his hard work, intelligence, and contributions to Lagos State’s youth, as well as his support for Nigerian youths in general.
Wusu encouraged Nigerians to allow him to continue his work in youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and government without unnecessary hindrances. “His contributions to youth recognition and entrepreneurship will not be forgotten,” he remarked.
