A date has been set for Ipswich Town’s FA Youth Cup clash with Liverpool.
The young Blues, managed by Sam Darlow, have reached round five thanks to a dramatic victory over Nottingham Forest last week, with Town winning on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
That set up a clash with Liverpool, with the game being played on Friday, February 3 at Portman Road.
The game will kick-off at 7pm, with supporters seated in the middle tier of Portman Road’s Magnus Group West Stand.
Tickets cost £3 for adults and £1 for concessions and will be available to purchase online and on the turnstiles.
Before beating Forest, the young Blues beat Aveley, Bromley and Huddersfield during their run in the competition, while Liverpool entered at the third round stage and have beaten Bournemouth and Port Vale.
The two sides met in the semi-finals of the competition in 2021, with Town taking the lead but Liverpool eventually coming back to win 2-1.
