Antonio Conte is determined to see Napoli FC secure a crucial victory against Cagliari tonight, with the extra motivation of aiming for a third consecutive win. The game, set to kick off at 17:00 UK time (16:00 GMT) at the Unipol Domus Stadium, holds added significance for the team following their challenging start to the season.
Napoli’s campaign began with a 3-0 defeat to Verona, but the team has since bounced back with victories over Bologna and a dramatic stoppage-time comeback against a 10-man Parma. Conte highlighted the importance of building momentum, telling Sky Sport Italia, “It’s been over a year and a half since Napoli won three games in a row, so this could be strong motivation for us.”
Conte also acknowledged the difficulty of the early season, noting that many teams are still adjusting after a late transfer window. “The first few weeks are tough for everyone.
